Crystal Plamondon, also known as the Cajun Queen of Canada, is a Canadian Franco-Albertan singer, songwriter, and percussionist. Initially regarded as a Cajun artist, her musical style also encompasses country, folk, and pop. She cites influences from Daniel Lanois, Dolly Parton, Sting, and Emmylou Harris. Plamondon sings in English, French, and Cree.

La Cite Francophone is hosting their 18th annual Edmonton Chante music festival. Crystal Plamondon is headlining the festival this year with her unique blend of French-Canadian/Cajun stylings.
I’ll be joining Tracy Millar and the band on the main stage at Ol Macdonald’s Music Festival. This year’s line up includes many artists including Danny Hooper and headlined by George Fox.
Farhad Khosravi and Daniel Stadnicki collaborate to explore new musical avenues in Persian folk music. Playing with rhythm, technique, harmonies, and style, the award-winning album, Masafer, blends the unique and individual musical stylings of the Iranian-born and Edmonton-based composer and santurist (Persian dulcimer) and much sought-after percussionist.
This program at the Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre in Camrose, titled A Prairie Christmas, features a full helping all of your holiday favourites!
