On April 29th, 2009 at 8pm the group 2islandgirls is launching thier newest musical offering at Edmonton’s Winspear Center.  I will be part of thier band which includes such greats as: Chris Andrew-piano, Gord Mathews-guitar, John Taylor-bass and Sandro Dominelli-drums. I have been asked to judge this year’s contest.  The other judges are Amelia Kaminski and Gary Fayant.  Expect rousuing performancs by Alfie Myhre and Ray St. Germain & the Metis Family Singers from Calgary.  Drop by the Penn West Energy Stage at Capital X July 22-23, 2009 for some of the region’s best fiddle players!  Follow the link for more info: Metis Fiddle Contest.

I will be playing along with the Edmonton Junior Children’s Choir @ McDougall Church May 23, 2009.  We antisipate a full house.  They will be the youngest choir there.  In total 53 singers, 8-11 year old!  It’s going to be fun.
