Celtic Mass for the Sea

sea-mass_final-printCelebrate our beautiful country from coast to coast to coast by attending the concert at Robertson-Wesley on June 8 at 7:30 pm.
A chamber orchestra – with a twist – will accompany the choral singing. The orchestra is a string quartet combined with a Celtic band! The band will include two of the Celtic players from the McDades – Shannon Johnson on fiddle, and Jeremiah McDade on whistles, flute and uilleann pipes, joined by Celtic harpist Keri Lynn Zwicker; mandolin player Jay Kuchinsky; and Jim Findlay on guitar.

The service on June 3 is by freewill offering, and tickets for the June 8 concert are: $18 adults, $10 students/seniors, and $30 for a family of 2 adults and children. Tickets will be available in the R-W office and on

Durufle’s Requiem

Featuring Durufle’s Requiem

Maurice Durufle’s stunning Requiem, completed shortly after WWII in memory of the composer’s father, will be paired with contemporary music performed by both Vocal Alchemy and guests Chronos Vocal Ensemble, a cappella and with piano accompaniment. The program will also feature a guest chamber orchestra, organist Jeremy Spurgeon, and the world premiere of Laura Hawley’s Meadowlarks.

Tickets: $17 ($15 students/seniors) in advance, or $20/18 at the door (cash/credit) available now from choir members and Tix on the Square.
